Our crawl space foundation is inadequate for the weight of the house. The floors are wavy, and the walls are cracked. I found significant differences in floor level during my hardwood installation. 1" metal rods spaced at 8-12ft support 6x6 cross beams every 7-10ft, which support the joists. I'd like to quote out two options. First, leveling and bolstering the foundation to support a kitchen/bathroom remodels and significant weight additions. Second, bolstering the crawlspace enough to allow for a future second story addition. Thanks.
