Upon inspecting the homeowner's crawl space, the LRE Design Specialist discovered significant moisture damage to the wooden structural supports.
LRE gave this crawlspace a facelift with its encapsulation system. Moisture barriers and dehumidifiers help with eliminating future mold and mildew issues and creates a clean space underneath the home.
LRE was able to access this particular crawlspace from above ground due to the damaged and removed subfloor.
The homeowner's concrete driveway had settled and cracked as a result of the underlying soil becoming unstable over time.
During the inspection conducted by our Design Specialist in the homeowner's crawl space, extensive debris and signs of years of wear and tear were uncovered.
Though out of sight most of the time, crawl spaces need to be kept in optimal condition for the rest of the home to maintain its structural integrity. Often, crawl spaces in many Florida homes are left unattended, leading to rampant moisture damage.
This crawlspace suffered from mold and mildew because excess moisture could not be removed quick enough under the home.
The installation of the CleanSpace Encapsulation System is complete. The plastic liner, which extends throughout the entire crawl space and covers the drainage matting underneath, offers superior waterproofing and insulation.
