The SmartJack System is a steel support system designed to stabilize and level the floors in a crawl space. It addresses issues such as sagging floors, bouncy or uneven floors, and provides additional support to weak or failing beams. By installing the SmartJack System, it helps to reinforce the structural integrity of the crawl space, ensuring a stable and level foundation, which can prevent further damage and improve the overall safety and functionality of the home.
A damp crawl space can affect the floor above by causing wood rot, mold growth, and structural damage. The moisture can also lead to warping or cupping of the floorboards, creating an uneven surface. Additionally, it can contribute to poor indoor air quality and musty odors in the living areas above!

Installing the SmartJack System involves assessing the site to determine the number and placement of SmartJacks. Small holes are dug and filled with compacted fill to create stable bases. The SmartJack components are assembled and placed into these holes, adjusted to the right height, and secured. Final adjustments ensure the floors are leveled and the structure is stable. A final inspection and cleanup complete the process, providing long-term support and leveling for the home.

CleanSpace was permanently fastened to the crawl space walls, floor, and support columns to stop moisture from seeping through, maintaining a clean, dry, mold free environment.
