Woods replaced the old sump pump with the TripleSafe. The TripleSafe contains two powerful cast-iron pumps and a battery back up pump to remove intruding water safely away from the basement. It can handle the larger volumes of water that severe weather brings and protects the basement during power outages.

As part of the waterproofing system, Woods installed CleanSpace over the foundation walls. CleanSpace is a thick, durable plastic moisture barrier that prevents intruding water from getting into the basement and directs it down to the perimeter drainage system. CleanSpace gives the basement a brighter, cleaner appearance.

TripleSafe is equipped with a main pump, backup pump and battery-powered pump to ensure the basement stays dry. In addition to WaterGuard and TripleSafe, IceGuard was installed. IceGuard is attached to the external discharge lines and provides an exit for water in the event that the lines become frozen or clogged.

Peter is pleased to know that his basement is dry and will stay dry. He can sleep soundly knowing there will be no water leaks or mold.
