Our Overall Service
Paid you a substantial sum in Aug 2018 to remediate mold & humidity problem in crawl space. Worked fine till 23 April 2019 - returned from trip and entire house smelled. Earliest I could get rep. to house was 13 May so dealt with 9 days of stink.
Call Representative
Representative who came to house said de-humidifier was set too low (don't know why this should have been if it had been properly set when installed, which presumably it was because we'd had no problem with smell between time of installation and odor problem of 24 Apr). Wife was told that Woods had found the type of unit that had been installed at our house to be problematic but that it wouldn't be replaced unless it actually failed. This was not a confidence inspiring announcement! Worst of smell went away after your representative's visit but we still get a hint of order. If problem, reoccurs, we will want a Woods representative on site the day of, or day after, the problem is reported - not 10 days later.
Our Installation Crew
The service representative who came to our house was polite and helpful. I was not pleased because I had to have the 12-month annual inspection on our installation done at the 10 month point to accommodate someone coming to our home to resolve the problem. Hopefully, there will be no further difficulty and we can move back to an annual maintenance schedule based of date of installation in the future. If future problems occur with the dehumidifier not holding its setting or taking out moisture as it should, we will definitely want it replaced with a more reliable unit at no expense to ourselves.

What made you choose our company:

I checked with three friends who had you do the same type of installation that we had done and all three were pleased with your work and the long-term follow-up and results. I remain guardedly optimistic that I will have the same results but am not 100% confident at this point. Will be on another trip later this year and do not want to return and find that house smells again. If it does; I will want same day/next day support from Woods, not a 9 or 10 day delay before someone comes to our house.
