Dave Naughton
Nova Basement Systems

Dave was Jim Nova's first ever full-time employee when he joined the team in 1990 after graduating high school. As you can imagine, Dave has seen the growth that can happen when you focus on taking great care of your customers! Because NOVA was a great family-owned business, Dave felt at home.
Throughout the business, Dave primarily worked in the field helping to waterproof basements and crawlspaces. Dave's role evolved from becoming a foreman for crew, to being NOVA's first-ever service technician, to overseeing the Production and Service Departments. And because Jim Nova was the LaPorte High School's Building Trade's teacher, Dave was able to diversify his skill sets to include understanding all aspects of construction (i.e. electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc). This skill comes in handy, because not every home or building is constructed the exact same. This allows for Dave and NOVA to adapt to your specific property's concerns.
After Jim Nova retired in December of 2014, Dave became part owner of the company. From there, Dave now focuses on building the NOVA team.
When Dave is away from the office, Dave spends time with his wife, daughter, son-in-law, and their beautiful granddaughter. If he's not with his family, you can be sure he is involved with a Ford Mustang.
