The WaterGuard solution is designed to control perimeter water from the cove joint, and redirect that water to a sump pit. We broke out the concrete around the perimeter of the foundation, and set and installed a sump pump. Then we re-concreted over those areas. Then we plumbed the sump pump to an IceGuard, that transitions plumbing from 1 1/2" plumbing to a 4" discharge line. Our estimator found that water was finding a way in at the cove joint and they had no dewatering system to capture that seepage. We installed a Flangeless WaterGuard Solution to capture the water entering the floor and wall joint, and tied that into the homeowner's existing sump pump. To address some stabilization concerns, we applied Wall Anchors on two side walls, and Fortress Carbon Fiber Straps along the back wall.
