Waterproofing in Iowa City, IA
Christopher and Dianne were having water issues in their basement and contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems about their concerns. Christopher and Dianne needed a full perimeter WaterGuard System and a Sump Pump. They decided to go with a TripleSafe Sump Pump. The TripleSafe Sump Pump is a three-pump system that comes equipped with a battery back up and a WaterWatch Alarm. The WaterWatch Alarm is placed in the top of the sump pump system to make sure that the water in the sump pump never overflows. The alarm will sound letting you know that the water is getting close to the top. The TripleSafe Sump Pump battery backup is included so that if you ever lose power during a storm you can rest easy knowing that your pump is still running.
New Dry Crawlspace in Iowa City, IA
Homeowner Fran was worried about her crawlspace as it was wet and smelled musty. She was unable to use the space as storage, due to the potential water damage to her belongings. She had the crawlspace fully encapsulated with CleanSpace, which is similar to a thick pool liner that lines all of the walls and floors and then sealed. This water barrier allows for the space to stay dry and free of mold, enabling it to be used to store belongings.
