Chris has always enjoyed construction and helping people solve problems in their homes. After flipping homes in Grand Rapids for several years before the 2008 real estate collapse, he transitioned to working in a restaurant. The opportunity to return to construction with Ayers reignited his passion.

Chris lives with his wife, Ashley, and their two daughters in Holland, Michigan. Outside of work, you'll often find Chris enjoying the outdoors with his family, making the most of quality time together.

The water was getting into the homeowners house through the cracks between the slabs on the basement floor. 
Moisture enters the crawl space when the floor is basically dirt with no vapor barrier. Those wooden floor joists you see are at risk of rotting with ongoing moisture.
Water damage often shows up in finished basements as bubbling paint or warped wood. Here, you can see the bubbling present near the floor.
In this photo, you can see that the WaterGuard drain in now installed below the floor and new cement has been poured over the product.
Think about your basement, wouldn't you be concerned if you noticed sunlight coming through the walls, because you should be. This is a huge red flag for any homeowner.
The homeowners had water coming up through a crack in the floor when it rained. The water was causing damage to the basement floor and to some of the homeowners belongings. 
The small window well attached to this window flooded every time it rained, and then leaked water into the basement. It likely wasn't installed with any proper drainage attached.
This wall has a severe lean that puts it at risk of collapsing entirely. The wall anchors will stabilize the wall to prevent any further bowing, but also hopefully straighten it over time.
