What made you choose our company:
I liked the reviews of the company so I called and setup an appointment, salesman seemed competent but after install team came out it was clear he had no idea how the battery backup sump system worked or the extra discharge lines needed even when I asked, salesman had the new enclosed sump pump systems on our invoice but not theirs which resulted in installation delays. Install crew was great and showed us their progress every step of the way and at the end of install I thought all was well. I later had to remove one outside vent cover because one side came off and then reinstall and reseal all three vent covers which I was concerned about from the beginning. 7 months after install I went under to check a cable line and found the underside of the house by the AC flooded, I called the company and they said they could not come out for another 6 weeks, 4 Aug (No customer service here after all we live in Port Huron) I was assured at install if there were any issues they had a number of plumbers in the area they could contact but I would get top priority with this water issue. I had a plumber come in and check the problem and do some other work as well, he showed me where the condensation line for the AC under the house had no place to drain( I have two lines, one was set correctly sorta, the other was not) this oversight resulted in him having to pump out 10 gallons of water and dry the area while I cut thru the vinyl, styrofoam and ground matting and installing a drain line approximately 2 in long , I also installed a water alarm just to be on the safe side. I could not leave standing water under our house for 6 weeks. I know no company is perfect but this was an easy fix that they could have addressed quickly. AYERS promotes an extended warranty program but is this the type of service I can expect say with a pump failure and is it worth the price ? I mean customer service after the install is a big deal and can make or break a company.
