Comment Basement leaking - sunken/cracked driveway sections likely culprit.
  • Project Location Lansing, MI 48911
Comment This is a new build and the newly poured driveway is about 1 inch lower than the road surface at the apron and collecting water. The driveway was installed prior to final grading, so the problem is likely to get worse after the yard is raised to the level of the road. In the event that the builder won't make good on fixing the issue, I'm collecting estimates so I can plan to have the repair done just after closing. I'm guessing the apron, and possibly the slabs just above it will need adjusting together so the driveway is still smooth.
