Nikki became a part of the Erickson Foundation design team in 2020.  In her years of experience, she has designed hundreds of systems and solutions to help homeowners in our community. She is an expert in all our basement system waterproofing solutions, foundation repair, and concrete repair solutions.

In Nikki's personal time she enjoys going on day trips with her twins. She also enjoys the occasional karaoke and taking dance classes. She also loves to volunteer her time and helping others.

At this corner of the pool, the concrete had settled near the grass. This formed some trip hazards and caused the joint coping to tear out.
A crack in the foundation wall can lead to basement leaks and may indicate that the house is not adequately supported.
The WaterGuard channels were installed along the entire perimeter to capture water entering the basement. These channels all flow toward the low point, which is the sump pump basin. Both the sump pump system and perimeter drains will have new concrete installed over and around them to complete the system.
The team installed a total of 2 extraction points to collect the most radon possible from below the home.
As you can see tin the photo, the dirt crawl space created a wet environment, which can lead to humidity, mold, and wood rot.
The team excavated the concrete around the basement's perimeter to create room for the installation of the WaterGuard system.
View of the vapor barrier encapsulating the basement wall that typically was full of moisture and allowed water to leak into the basement. The moisture now flows into the sump pump basin and out of the home.
The concrete around the perimeter of the basement was removed to create space for the installation of WaterGuard.
