Accumulated water on the pool deck presents a risk of slipping, detracts from the visual appeal, and is a significant nuisance.
WaterGuard is designed to be installed along the interior perimeter of a foundation, capturing water before it can enter the basement and channeling it to the TripleSafe sump pump system.
In order for WaterGuard to be installed, the lower portion of the drywall in the basement needs to be removed. This allows access to the perimeter of the foundation wall, which is chipped out so WaterGuard can be put in place.
A crack in the foundation wall can lead to basement leaks and may indicate that the house is not adequately supported.
Tape is applied around the crack to guide the FlexiSpan application and reduce mess. The foundation floor area beneath the crack is removed to create space for the installation of WaterGuard. WaterGuard will then capture any water if drainage is needed.
The perimeter of the foundation was chipped out to allow space for WaterGuard to be installed. Water is captured before being able to enter the basement space and delivered to the sump pump. The system rests on crushed stone to ensure the proper flow of water to the sump basin.
The interior perimeter of the foundation was excavated to allow space for the WaterGuard system to be installed.
The water entering through this block foundation wall initially suggests a need for waterproofing. However, upon closer inspection, notice the crack on the foundation floor. Our System Design Specialist conducted a thorough inspection and identified several similar issues, indicating a more serious problem: foundation damage. Settlement was compromising the home's integrity, leading to severe basement leaks.
