An extraction point was made in the foundation floor. PVC pipe was then constructed from that extraction point to the exterior of the home. This system is designed to be air-tight, ensuring that radon is not present in the home.
NexusPro was used to seal cracks in the basement, preventing radon gas from entering.
We drilled through the foundation floor to create an extraction point. PVC pipe was then constructed up and out of the basement. The extraction point was then sealed tight, ensuring radon would not seep through any cracks or holes.
WaterGuard perimeter drainage has been installed along the foundation walls to intercept any water before it can enter the basement. Our TrenchDrain surface drainage system has been installed around the oil tank, which connect to WaterGuard, forming a unified pathway for water to flow towards the sump pump. The UltraSump sump pump then expels the water from the property via a discharge line.
Given the size of the basement, an additional extraction point was installed. The process from the first extraction point is replicated at the second, with the pipes joining together before extending to the outside of the house.
Concrete along the perimeter of the crawl space was removed to allow space for the installation of our WaterGuard drainage system.
WaterGuard has been installed along the basement's perimeter, serving as an interior French Drain system designed to intercept water before it enters the basement and channel it to the sump pump.
The water entering through this block foundation wall initially suggests a need for waterproofing. However, upon closer inspection, notice the crack on the foundation floor. Our System Design Specialist conducted a thorough inspection and identified several similar issues, indicating a more serious problem: foundation damage. Settlement was compromising the home's integrity, leading to severe basement leaks.
