The old sump pump was unable to keep up with the amount of water entering the basement, leaving it vulnerable during heavy rains and storms. Sick of the cleanup process, the homeowner sought out a dependable and long-term solution.
WaterGuard has been installed around the perimeter of the affected areas in both the garage and basement. It collects water along the foundation, preventing it from entering the interior space. This water is subsequently directed to the sump pump basin.
The previous sump pump installed in the basement of the home stopped working. This left the basement prone to basement floods. At one point, the basement filled with 4' of water.
WaterGuard perimeter drainage has been installed along the foundation walls to intercept any water before it can enter the basement. Our TrenchDrain surface drainage system has been installed around the oil tank, which connect to WaterGuard, forming a unified pathway for water to flow towards the sump pump. The UltraSump sump pump then expels the water from the property via a discharge line.
The wooden support posts in the basement were not designed for long-term support. Proactively addressing the issue, the homeowner contacted us to ensure the long-term safety and structural integrity of their home.
WaterGuard was installed along the interior perimeter of the basement to capture water before being exposed to the space. The water that is collected is routed to the sump pump to be removed from the home.
This photo highlights the vulnerability of the stored items in the basement, evidenced by the water infiltration markings on the floor. The homeowner required a durable solution to ensure the basement remained dry.
