Judging from the amount of times the new sump pump system kicked during the weekend Nor'easter on 10/29/11 on I have to believe that without the sump pump I would have had an incursion of water in my basement as other storms have caused. A worthwhile investment from a reputable company.

Sump pump installed on Thursday, Saturday put to the test with a Nor'easter. Pump did its job, I heard it running quite a few times and no water got in the basement.
