David Wilcox
Wilcox Basement Systems
David Wilcox started his career at a young age of 15 assisting contractors with various stages of home building and remodeling with his free time-soaking in as much knowledge and experience as he could. At 19 David was self-employed; working long hours and saving to invest in his home building and remodeling business. His persistence in quality and complete customer satisfaction grew David's reputation and demand. In 2000 he was awarded the 40 under 40; a Chamber of Commerce award for significant contribution and growth by young individuals in the community. In 2001 he received the honor of being "Builder of the Month" through Central New York's Builder and Architect Magazine and was featured on their December 2001 issue. In 2002 his company won the Torch Award 1st runner up and in 2003 won the award for Marketplace ethics with the Better Business Bureau. In 2004 David's company was recognized and honored as business of the year in the Mohawk Valley.
David transitioned his building and remodeling company into a quality professional basement waterproofing and foundation repair service in 2000. He saw a specific need for this type of service in the Upstate New York area and was one of the first to start and stay steadfast in his certified waterproofing business in the region; being in business now over 22 years. Both David and his employees are extensively trained and certified through Basement Systems at the International Headquarters in Connecticut-one of the leading companies in the industry across the country.
