It is very tedious when trying to come and go from your garage, and you keep running over a lip in your garage's threshold. Going in is challenging since you stop at the lip and accelerate a bit more, causing your car to roll over uncontrollably until you hit the brakes and get an unwanted amount of speed when reversing over the lip. Disregarding the vehicle, it is also a tripping hazard when walking in or out. The homeowners called Canadian Concrete Leveling, and our Project Manager, Andy Moncrieff, was on site. After analyzing the threshold and coming up with a schematic of how and where he will level the concrete, he sent his installation team another day to complete the job. Installation specialists Kyle McKeown and Russell were going to lift the concrete using PolyLevel®, a high-density, quick expanding polyurethane, and then seal off the joints using our NexusPro® sealant. The process only took under 15 minutes and did not disrupt the foot traffic, which left the homeowners happy that they could use the driveway in no time!

In Windsor, Ontario, this home had sinking concrete slabs and a staircase that started to expose the foundation—the wall-to-floor joints being exposed, making it vulnerable to moisture attacking the foundation. The foundation was at risk; visitors were at risk for tripping hazards from the sinking concrete. With the schematics from our Project Manager Andy Moncrieff and Installation Specialist Kyle McKeown, the problem would be resolved in no time. First, PolyLevel® Injections were done to raise the concrete. Then Kyle sealed off the joints with our weatherproof, long-lasting sealant called NexusPro®.

In Windsor, Ontario, a home had a sinking porch, causing the front step to be significantly lower than before. This elongated step caused many tripping hazards for the owners and guests when entertaining. The home also had a larger crack running alongside the porch, which was destined for water saturation, potential shifting, and another tripping hazard. The homeowners wanted to level the concrete porch and seal the crack without replacing the concrete. Thankfully Canadian Concrete Leveling can do precisely that! After calling and inquiring about a solution, our Project Manager, Andy Moncrieff, arrived at the site to give a quote. The homeowners were excited about Andy's knowledge of Canadian Concrete Leveling’s products and how the products are used to permanently fix sinking concrete. When our installation team arrived to repair the step, they used our high-density polyurethane to lift the porch and lessen the gap between the steps. Next, they moved on to the crack running alongside the porch and used our permanent sealant, NexusPro®. This sealant is anti-cracking, malleable, waterproof and chemical-resistant, making it a permanent solution! The work was done the same day and only under half an hour to complete! The homeowners were thrilled with the result from the initial call to the cleanup! Job done on our part, and job well done to the porch staying up! Job well done on our part to keep the porch staying up!

A home in Dutton, Ontario, had a troublesome walkway for the tenant who lived there. The concrete slabbed walkway had experienced some sinking and shifting causing the pathway to be ankle bending and full of tripping hazards. On numerous occasions the tenant left the unit and tripped on it during all hours of the day, causing them to avoid the walkway as a whole making it pointless to have one. Minus the tripping hazards, during wet or cold days, the lower points would pool or even freeze creating a slipping issue. To prevent liability issues and tackle this job without spending a whole lot, the homeowners wanted to level out the concrete permanently. A call was made to Canadian Concrete Leveling since we can provide an honest quote, same-day installation, quick cleanup, effective price, and long-lasting work. Our Project Manager, Andy Moncrieff, went to the home to provide the owners with a schematic as to what will be happening once the installation team comes over. On a later day, our Installation Specialists, Kyle and JP, arrived at the home. With the given schematics, they were able to lift the slabs quickly and non-invasively. the material used for the levelling is a high-density polyurethane. A lot of other methods require more cement or a self-levelling liquid; both are effective and short-term. To get the long-term results with a lightweight material, you'd need our polyurethane, known as PolyLevel®. In order to get the PolyLevel® underneath the slab, small dime-sized injections are made to attach our nozzle for our hose. The hose contains our polyurethane and then gets injected in moderation into the sinking slab. The concrete lifts almost immediately and cures within minutes, leaving our homeowners and tenants worry-free about walking in and out of their unit.
