Comment We have two 46 1/2" x 46 1/2" slabs at our front door. They have sunk approximately 4'' and pulled away from the house due to water erosion. We have since repaired the water issue and would like the slabs raised and levelled so we may install railing.

Comment I have recently realised that I have some cracks in the basement.
  • Project Location Etobicoke, ON M9B 2S5
Comment I have a 1 car garage with serious cracking and sinking at the rear of the slab caused by water that was funneled to the front edge of the slab (by the garage door) that would enter a large gap and proceed under the garage slab and back to the rear and out a foundational seam between the house foundation and the garage foundation. I have filled the front gap which has finally allowed the majority of water to be diverted from going under. The gap formed due to the driveway sectional (non-monolithic) slabs falling away from the house and subsiding (also due to the same lack of water diversion) The total section of the 10x22 slab is approximately 8x10 of the rear, that has cracked into several substantial pieces forming somewhat of a concave bowl shape, with an overall edge drop of ~2" at the wall, to the lowest point being ~4.5" drop from original height to the right of center when facing the rear (about 7ft from the left north wall and 5ft from the rear). There is also a void under the slab from the same previously mentioned water erosion and settlement, seems to have been slab on dirt rather than base. I'm wondering on what the cost would be to use poly foam and fill any void and lift the sunken/cracked slab, as I'm fairly certain that it is transferring load of the diagonal sag and heave into the non-filled cement block foundational wall. I'm also looking to have the bare wall of my basement inspected (I've gutted the old 70's diy finishing (was absolutely terrible), and am concerned with the state of the existing foundation before beginning any re-finishing.

Comment Hello, I would like to request a quote to repair and re-level our concrete front steps, which are sinking slightly to one side. In the winter, we notice a "bounce" when using the steps. There is also a crack in the bottom step and we would like to explore options for an anti-slip coating.
