This tubing allows water to flow around the perimeter and into the lowest section of the crawl space, where the sump pump will be placed.
To stop moisture from passing through your floors and porous concrete walls, a crawl space liner should be installed. A durable liner will allow for servicemen to use the space without damage while transforming your crawl space into usable storage space. This is also the best time to install crawl space insulation on your walls or floors. This liner is inadequate and will be replaced.
Moisture levels in this crawl space are very high. This is a breeding ground for mold growth, wood rot, and sinking of the crawl space.
A trench is dug around the permitter of the basement to get ready to install the WaterGuard system.
The area at the lowest point in the basement is excavated for the sump pump to be placed.
Taking moisture readings inside the crawl space. This high level measured here is a perfect breeding ground for mold to grow which can rot the wooden floor joists.
This moisture reading shows a very high humidity level. This is a breeding ground for mold growth and wood rot, eventually leading to structural issues like failing crawl space supports and sagging floors.
This crawl space has a lot of debris that needs to be removed before this project can start. Once removed we will start installing the waterproofing products.
