The stem wall on this Tucson, AZ home was showing signs of failure. The existing rebar was causing the stem was to flake and crack, the Homeowner decided to call Arizona Foundation solutions. Our stem wall repair crew installed our composite Stem Wall Repair System.

In Prescott Valley, Arizona, a homeowner was facing sagging floors and structural issues in their crawl space due to weakened beams and floor joists. After a thorough inspection of the crawl space, Chris identified that the best solution was to install SmartJack® crawl space support jacks. These adjustable, corrosion-resistant jacks would provide the necessary support to stabilize the sagging floors and ensure long-term structural integrity. The installation would be overseen by Alonso, the experienced project foreman, ensuring quality and timely completion of the project.

After Project Description:

Following the installation of SmartJack® crawl space support jacks by Arizona Foundation Solutions, the home in Prescott Valley, Arizona, is now stabilized and secure. Alonso, the foreman, led the project, ensuring precise installation of the SmartJack® system under the weakened floor joists. The SmartJack® units, capable of supporting up to 30,000 pounds, were installed on a well-compacted crushed stone base, distributing the load evenly to prevent future settlement.

Thanks to the corrosion-resistant galvanized coating of the SmartJack® system, the homeowner can rest assured that the crawl space will remain protected from moisture damage for years to come. Chris, the Design Specialist, also informed the homeowner that the system could easily be adjusted in the future if needed, offering long-term flexibility. Amanda, the Customer Care Representative, followed up after the project to ensure complete satisfaction, marking another successful SmartJack® installation in Prescott Valley.

This charming stucco home, built in 1996, had a cracking and flaking stem wall that was causing some issues for the homeowners. The customer wanted to stop the stem wall problem from spreading before it became more expensive, unsightly, and further danger to the structure. Our team replaced the existing rebar with our non-ferrous composite to ensure stability that they can count on! 

This Chandler home had stem was that was cracking and flaking. This happens when the rebar inside becomes oxidized a weakens the concrete. 

STEM WALL REPAIR - Excavate near damaged stem wall. Chip out existing failed concrete to fractured rock and behind existing rebar. Remove existing rebar. Replace with non-ferrous composite. Coat patch with cement patch. Backfill excavated area. Clean up & remove all debris. Quantity listed is in linear feet. AZFS warrants the replaced rebar against rust for the life of the structure.
