FlexiSpan in Madison, CT

This Madison home had a problem with a crack in the basement wall which caused water and moisture to seep through. This was concerning to the homeowner who decided that he wanted a permanent solution to fix this problem.

The solution for this crack in the basement wall was to install our FlexiSpan system. This was the perfect solution because this single repair will last so you will not have to do it again. It also cannot leak or reopen like mortar-based repairs and permanently stops water leakage! This three-step process begins with the application of a flexible sealant along the full length of the crack. Next, a strip of flexible and porous foam is installed over the crack. Finally, an impermeable membrane is adhered to the wall on both sides of the foam strip. The system solved all the concerns of the homeowner and he’s is pleased with his FlexiSpan system!

Basement Waterproofing in Madison, CT

A homeowner in Madison, CT was getting water in their basement, leaving water damage. They made the smart decision and called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find them a solution. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Mike Bourdeau, went to the home to assess the issues and provide an estimate for the work they'd need to have done.

Soon after, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Moises Chantes, and his crew to tackle this project. They installed our WaterGuard perimeter drain system throughout the basement. This goes below the floor and is then covered back up with concrete to ensure that if any water comes in through the walls or floors, it will go directly into the WaterGuard. To go with this, they installed a SuperSump plus sump pump. This will take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. The crew also installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls of the basement to protect it and direct any water from behind the walls, into the WaterGuard drains. For extra protection and key to the waterproofing process, they installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. This will prevent excess moisture and mold growth. Our EverLast basement windows were installed too. Now this basement is fully waterproofed and this homeowner will no longer have to deal with water in their basement!
