This crawlspace had previously had a plastic liner installed which is a ineffective way of trying to protect your crawlspace. It can easily be torn and tends to come loose making it ineffective at preventing earth moisture from coming up. CleanSpace is a much better alternative as it is tough as to not tear and it is firmly attached to the floor of your crawlspace. 

This homeowner reached out to us because they were wanting to have more natural light in their home, and we had installed windows in their basement in the past. With a quick recommendation on adding another EverLast basement window, we were able to be in and out and complete the job they were looking for.

The reason for the recommendation for the EverLast basement window is because a normal new window alone would not prevent window leakage. This window prevents any water from breaching its seal and keeps water out of the home and basement.

This house was newly acquired by the homeowners who reached out to us to be proactive because their next-door neighbors are all having flooding issues. Our team went out to take a look and recommended extending all down spouts, so they are further away from the home and do not undermine any concrete. 

Although they are not yet experiencing any flooding, this will ensure that when there is an excess of water, it will not pool up and flood in and around their home.

Most older homes that have sump pumps installed in the basement need updated equipment. The old pumps are either broken or aren't strong enough. Many times the hole itself isn't large enough and actually contributes to the sump pump getting over used. DryZone uses a much larger sump pit than the average home currently has. The container is sealed so the smells and water vapor won't escape. Since the container is bigger, the pump takes longer to turn on and pumps out more water in one cycle. Short cycling, when the pump turns on and off in a small amount of time, will destroy a sump pump.
