Finishing a basement is a big problem. But, if the basement is not properly sealed or waterproofed, a finished basement can be quickly ruined by a water leak. When the water goes to the trench drain, it flows to the sump pump and gets pumped out of the home.

This homeowner in Lincoln, Delaware had WaterGuard installed, a long-lasting interior perimeter basement waterproofing system. WaterGuard sits on top of the footing, helping keep the wet dirt from getting into the drain.
