Because this home is built with a monolithic foundation, a foundation constructed in two pieces as opposed to three, the best drainage is acquired with DryTrak! DryTrak is installed mostly above the floor and gives the appearance of a baseboard while still operating like a trench drain. This system captures water that gets guided down the basement walls and leads it to a sump pump. 

This crawl space was in rough shape. Standing water caused a humidity issue that was impacting the home in several ways. The most obvious effect of the water and high humidity was the drooping and degraded insulation which had to be removed. Even more disturbing was the growth of mold along the floor joists. This humidity and mold growth can contribute to illness in the people who live in the home. Team DryZone came and removed the damaged insulation and floor debris. We also applied Mold-X to the floor joists which removed the stains from the previous mold growth and also helped prevent future mold growth.
