Flooded Patio Fixed in Winter Haven, FL

Ann L. was dealing with persistent water pooling around her patio. During our inspection, we discovered that poor grading and inadequate drainage were the root causes. To fix this, we installed a channel drain, also known as a trench drain, in the patio after removing a few pavers. This drain now directs water away from the patio and into the yard. The project was completed quickly, and Ann loved the result—her patio not only looks great but stays dry, solving the issue for good.

Resolving Flooding Issues Around Pool Deck in Tampa, Florida

Mark in Tampa, Florida, recently had a new channel drain installed in his pool deck to alleviate flooding and divert water outside of the pool cage area. However, a new issue arose when the water began pooling around the home's foundation at the point where the water was released from the channel drain. He contacted us at LRE Foundation Repair to help devise an effective solution for this flooding issue, and one of our expert Design Specialists visited his home to inspect the situation. After careful examination, the specialist devised a plan to install a catch basin at the exterior of the pool deck where the water was discharged. From there, the water would flow through an underground hard pipe and be released via a pop-up relief drain at the far end of the property. Our team promptly executed the plan, successfully implementing this new solution. Upon completion of the work, Mark was thrilled with the outcome and can now enjoy freedom from this persistent flooding issue.

Foundation Lift and Repair in Tampa, FL

Kent H. in Tampa, Florida was experiencing significant cracking to the exterior stucco of his home. With growing concerns there may be a problem, he called LRE Foundation Repair for a solution. After a thorough inspection of the home, LRE was able to determine the main cause of the foundation settlement was due to unstable soils underneath the home. To compact and stabilize the underlying soils, LRE used a two-part deep injection chemical grout. This material expands to compact the underlying soils while strengthening the area as well. LRE also installed helical piers to the side of the home in order to gain lift to the structure, closing some of the cracks in the exterior stucco. Helical piers are advanced deep into the soil and connected to the home's foundation to allow lift to occur. Once the job was complete, Kent H. was extremely pleased to see his home restored and foundation stabilized for years to come.

Foundation Lifted in Temple Terrace, FL

Richard and Patricia owned this home in Temple Terrace, Florida for many years. The back room addition of this home started settling and large cracks were forming inside on the walls and ceiling. With growing concern, they called LRE Foundation Repair for the solution. After an inspection determined loose soils were causing too much movement to the home, LRE engineered a solution by installing helical piers and injecting PolyLevel to a section of the home. Helical piers are drilled into the soil around the exterior walls using small equipment to eliminate disruption to the landscaping of the home. These piers were also able to achieve the desired lift this home needed. In addition, PolyLevel, an expandable two-part foam, was injected at the site to solidify and stabilize the soils underneath. Once completed, these homeowners were thrilled to see the cracks closed and the home stabilized for years to come.
