Elliot P. has lived in his Bradenton, Florida home since a child. He started noticing his bathroom floors giving way when he walked on them and the door would no longer close all the way.  Concerned, Elliot reached out to LRE for a free inspection. After a whole home inspection, LRE determined that poor soil conditions and failing support columns were mostly to blame. LRE custom-designed a solution using SmartJacks and galvanized steel support beams to replace the existing structure, stabilize the foundation, and lift the floors back into place. Once this project was complete, Elliot was thrilled to know his childhood home is now permanently restored and stabilized for many more memories to be made. 

Looking to renovate his Bradenton, Florida home and prepare it for rent, James needed to first address the house's foundation. His home has a crawl space, and over time he noticed the floors felt increasingly unstable when walked upon. Upon careful examination of the crawl space, the specialist immediately noticed that the original block piers supporting the floor joists had settled into the ground, resulting in inadequate support. Our team stepped in and installed the SmartJack system throughout the crawl space, replacing the block piers and providing the floor joists with robust, permanent support. With the foundation now stabilized, James can continue with the rest of his home’s renovations, confident that the floors below are permanently secure.

To address this issue, our team installed the SmartJack system, replacing the block piers to provide robust support for the floor joists. James was thrilled with the results, as his home's floors are now fully leveled and permanently stabilized.

Karen and Ron R. were enjoying retirement in their Sebring, Florida home but were growing tired of seeing cracks throughout their driveway, which was their favorite place to sit. Hoping to have the cracks removed or diminished, they called LRE Foundation Repair for a solution. LRE was able to inspect the area and determined that loose, shifting soils, voids, and tree roots were the main cause of the noticeable damage. Using a combination of services called PolyLevel and NexusPro, LRE was able to solve these homeowners' concerns with ease. PolyLevel is a polymer foam material that is injected through small drill holes in the concrete driveway and expands to lift areas of the drive while it solidifies the soils below. Once the driveway was stabilized, LRE used NexusPro to seal visible cracks and smooth out the concrete. NexusPro is a silicone-based, flexible sealer that protects the integrity of the concrete while smoothing out and diminishing the appearance of cracks. Once this project was complete, these homeowners were thrilled with the results and could enjoy their protected driveway for years to come. 

LRE Foundation Repair was the approved contractor for a commercial project in Sarasota, Florida, where a group of condos were experiencing significant cracking to the interior and exterior of buildings. LRE worked closely with engineers to determine the cause of the damage, the scope of work, and the solution to eliminate any future damages down the road. Due to shifting and unstable soil conditions, this project required the installation of high-strength galvanized steel tubes, called push piers, that were affixed to a bracket secured to a building's footer, and then hydraulically driven down to competent soil. The building's weight was distributed to these piers allowing for stability and lift, which also closed large cracks. Once the buildings were permanently stabilized, soils were backfilled and the project site was cleaned. The clients, and homeowners, were pleased with the finished product and foundationally-sound building repairs.
