This homeowner reached out to us because their basement had started flooding in the last couple of months. Worried about it causing more damage to their home, they wanted to get it fixed quickly and permanently. One of our System Design Specialists, Foster, explained the issues that were present and how we could provide a solution. For this home, we installed the WaterGuard drainage system, along with IceGuard to prevent clogs, and a LawnScape Outlet at the end of the discharge line. We also installed the CleanSpace Wall System to work with the rest of the system. It creates an air and moisture barrier to keep the basement clean and dry. All together these components create a permanent basement waterproofing solution. 

This customer called voicing concerns about water leaking into her home. She stated that she was noticing several gallons leaking in at a time. This raises concerns because water leaking into the home, can cause many different issues. This can lead to mold, rotting wood, foundation problems, and many other issues in the home. We were able to get her a sales rep that went out for an appointment, he found the root of the issue, and gave her the options that we have to resolve a problem like this. We sent our crew out, and they were able to install a sump pump and drainage line, and these worked together to resolve her issue. The SuperSump is sump pump that gathers the waters and drains it to the drainage line, which is placed outside and away from the home. The crew places the drainage line far enough away from the home to avoid blockage and the water draining back into the home.

One of our sales inspectors from the Real Estate Response Team was called out to this home because the seller was in the due diligence period of selling the home. During the home inspection for selling the house, it was discovered that there was standing water in the crawl space. The buyer requested that this issue be fixed before closing, which were our Real Estate Response Team comes in. After performing his inspection, Dan created a system to waterproof the crawl space so this doesn't happen anymore.
