Laurinda J. from Fulton, MO was concerned about her foundation walls in her basement. She was worried that they were moving again, even though wall anchors were installed, but by a different company. She wished for stable wall support.

As seen in the Before image, the window is uneven and the ceiling is in poor condition. In the After picture, the ceiling looks much more stable and the walls much straighter. Cathie S. of Tebbetts, Missouri was worried about her crawl space support. The floor above her crawl space was sinking, and the beams below were unstable and rotting. She was worried about her home above and wanted an easy way to fix the problem before it got any worse. She decided to call Woods Basement Systems and see what they could do. 

We sent our foreman Jose Lorenzana and his team out to the home. They installed our patented SmartJack system into the crawl space of the home. SmartJacks are steel support systems used to permanently stabilize and level the girders and floor joists in a crawl space. Now, Cathie has peace of mind knowing her crawlspace is safe and stable.

A wall was continuing to crack and shift after attempting to stabilize and seal it in Tebbetts, MO, so the GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These are galvanized steel earth anchors embedded into the soil out and away from the foundation wall. Once installed, these will hold the walls in their current position and can be tightened to allow for improvement and straightening of the wall over time. This is the best solution to straighten the wall over time, as it can fix severe problems and stabilize the foundation for good!

This cracked foundation was only getting worse with time and needed a permanent repair. Team Woods solved this issue by installing push piers into the footing to raise the foundation up to its original place.
