A basement in Flora, IL, was humid and leaking during heavy rain. This needed to be addressed, so the homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, CleanSpace™ was used to encapsulate the wall and prevent the humidity from getting in. This durable liner not only makes the basement look nicer, it also keeps other outside elements, such as rot, out as well. Next, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that enters the basement and direct it to the nearest sump pump. This system doesn't clog, due to it's horizontal design. Finally, a sump pump was used to discharge the water out of the basement. This sump has a battery back-up generator to ensure it keeps working, even during a power outage. With these systems in place, the homeowner can have peace of mind knowing their basement will remain dry during heavy rain. 

Craig, Findlay, Illinois homeowner, was concerned with water leaking into his basement. The water pooled in his basement and risked damaging the items he stored there. Craig had a sump pump, but it failed to keep the basement dry. System Design Specialist Greg B. designed a solution.

In addition to WaterGuard, Team Woods installed a new sump pump system. This system was equipped with a sealed lid, so water and moisture cannot escape from the sump. This waterproofing system keeps Craig's basement dry, so he no longer fears water pooling in his basement.
