A homeowner's foundation was starting to crack due to outside pressure, leading to leaks which caused water damage, mold, and could get much worse if not fixed. The PowerBrace system was installed to support the walls, closing the cracks as well as preventing new ones from forming. This will keep water from seeping in and the foundation from failing. 

This homeowner was shocked to see their basement walls cracking and bowing into the home's interior. System Design Specialist Greg B. assessed the situation and recommended a long-lasting repair solution to protect the foundation and the home.

Foreman Brad P. and his team installed Geo-Lock wall anchors to reinforce the damaged wall. Geo-Lock uses a galvanized steel rod and heavy-duty steel plates to brace bowing walls and potentially straighten them to their original position. With Geo-Lock, this homeowner has the piece of mind they deserve.

This Niantic, Illinois foundation was not secure and this affected the basement walls. These walls were cracking and moving into an unstable position. Team Woods secured the walls with Geo-Locks to tighten and strengthen the walls over time. 

Kathy I was concerned when she noticed that her floors were beginning to sink. So, she decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Tod M was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Joshua B installed a SmartJack, shown above, underneath Kathy’s home. The SmartJack will rest on the ground and support the portion of the floors that is sinking, and lift it back to its original position.

A support beam in a Salem, IL crawlspace was failing, cracking, and not supporting the floor above. To solve this issue, the SmartJack system was installed. This will stabilize crawl space beams and floor joists and lift the floors above the crawl space back toward their original elevation. They will also reduce floor bounce caused by weakened floor joists or excessive spans. This crawlspace will remain stable for years to come!
