The director, Aaron D, was worried about more damage so he called Woods Basement Systems for a free estimate. Woods recommended installing a waterproofing system.
Woods installed two TripleSafe sump systems, one of which is shown in the picture, as part of the waterproofing system. Each TripleSafe contains a primary, a secondary and a battery back up pump. If the primary pump is unable to keep up with a higher volume of water coming from a heavy downpour, the secondary pump will automatically kick into action to keep the basement dry. In the event of a power outage, the battery back up pump can pump up to 11,000 gallons of water out of the basement on a full charge to keep water at bay until power is restored.
