IceGuards installed in Swansea, IL

Connie H.'S basement in her Swansea, IL home had been damaged by water getting in every time it rained. She had a consultation with Woods Basement Systems and Woods recommended a waterproofing system.

Considering the typical Midwest winters, Woods installed IceGuards as part of the waterproofing system. As shown on the picture, IceGuards are installed on the discharge lines on the exterior of the home. If the discharge lines become frozen or clogged, IceGuards allow the trapped water to escape through its slotted openings so it won't come back into the basement.
