A basement in Belleville, IL, was leaking during heavy rain and needed to be addressed before concerns of mold emerged. This system sits on top of the soil to prevent clogging. Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the water out of the basement. Then, IceGuard™ was used to ensure the pipes do not get blocked by snow or ice during the colder winter months. Finally, a discharge line was used to carry the water away from the home. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry.

The WellDuct window well drainage system is a proven solution for leaky windows.  The window well is cleaned out on the outside and filled with clean stone and a grate.  This allows the water to drain out of the well and through a small hole that is drilled in the wall to the inside just below the window sill.  The water runs down inside the WellDuct track to the WaterGuard system, where it is carried to the sump pump and taken out and away from the home.

This leaky basement had a failed waterproofing system and was in desperate need of a replacement.  There were large cracks in the walls, resulting in water coming in during heavy rains.  Woods Basement Systems installed WaterGuard waterproofing system in the basement.  After WaterGuard is installed, concrete is poured over it, and the basement is now permanently waterproofed.
