After years of water damage accumulating in this Carrollton, Illinois basement, this homeowner decided to permenately stop this reoccuring issue. Two of the main waterproofing products used were CleanSpace and WaterGuard. 

These two products work together to keep water out of the basement, which will prevent any further water damage from concentrating. 

Water was leaking down a basement wall in Carrollton, IL, causing damage. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls. The white color will also brighten the basement, reflecting the light. Any wall leaks will also be drained down to the WaterGuard System. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system. Unlike the original sump pump, the TripleSafe™ features a multiple-pump system that can operate at different rates to contend with different levels of water in the basement. The TripleSafe™ even features a battery-powered pump that can kick in to keep the basement dry when the power goes out. 

The TripleSafe™ even has extra features in the sump pit liner. Tiny holes in the liner will allow the TripleSafe™ to collect water from around the pit as well as from the perimeter drainage system. An air-tight lid will prevent any water collected in the pit from evaporating into the basement air, and a specially designed floor drain will allow water to enter from above the floor without letting any air out of the pit. The TripleSafe™ even features a special alarm that will sound when water levels rise dangerously high or significant leaks begin to leak into the sump pit from above, like in the event of a plumbing leak.
