SaniDry Replaces Store-Bought Dehumidifier in Saint Louis, MO

This commercial property in Saint Louis, MO had major moisture issues in the basement. Water leaked in through the foundation wall and floors and the open sump pit allowed even more water to evaporate in the air which created a very humid environment that this small store-bought dehumidifier was no match for. The owner Suzanne S. called Woods Basement Systems and a basement waterproofing system was recommended.

Woods replaced the small store-bought dehumidifier with the SaniDry dehumidifier as part of that waterproofing system. The SaniDry is an energy star rated dehumidifier, which means it’s as energy efficient as smaller units but much more powerful. It can remove up to 109 pints of water from the air in a day. By keeping the relative humidity low, the SaniDry prevents conditions that foster mold growth and create musty smells.

WaterGuard Installed in Saint Louis, MO

Suzanne S. owned a commercial property in Saint Louis, MO that had a basement that had major water leakages. Water came in through the stone foundation walls and wall joints and flooded the basement regularly to the point that it really couldn’t be a useful space so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods found the best solution would be a basement waterproofing system.

Woods installed the WaterGuard drainage system under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard is situated on top of the concrete footing of the home so it won’t become clogged with silt and plant debris like other drainage systems. It captures water from the joint where the foundation floors and walls meet, the area most susceptible to leaks, and guides it to the sump pump for removal.

French Drain Install In Saint Louis, MO

A home in Saint Louis, Missouri, had some water seepage issues that needed to be addressed. The homeowners already had a sump pump but there was water seepage present that wasn't able to get to it. Woods came out and installed the WaterGuard System to direct the water to the sump pump. This system consists of specially designed piping that is installed directly into the floor. This is to avoid clogging from dirt or other debris. With this WaterGuard in place, the water will have a way to get to the sump pump for removal, and the basement will stay dry!

Leaky Basement Waterproofed in Saint Louis, MO

A basement in Saint Louis, MO, was leaking during heavy rain. This needed to be addressed, so the homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that enters the basement and direct it to the nearest sump pump. This system doesn't clog, due to it's horizontal design. Next, a sump pump was used to discharge the water out of the basement. With these systems in place, the homeowner can have peace of mind knowing their basement will remain dry during heavy rain.

Leaking Illinois Basement

In Illiopolis, Illinois homeowner Carol C. was having problems with rainwater entering her basement. Her basement was unfinished, a place where she liked to store items she didn't need upstairs in her home. Now, she was unable to store anything in the space without fear of it becoming wet or damaged. Worried about the integrity of her home, she decided to call Woods Basement Systems. She had heard of our company from advertisements on the radio and on television. We sent our foreman David Hanks and his team out to the home to install our patented waterproofing systems. In Carol's home, they installed our WaterGuard system and CleanSpace liner. The CleanSpace lined the walls of the basement, keeping the water behind the liner, into our WaterGuard system. Now, Carol is happy knowing her home is safe and dry.
