Water getting into a basement can damage belongings stored there as Karen and Matthew M. of Arnold, MO found out firsthand. As part of the waterproofing system, IceGuards were installed on the exterior of the home. Discharge lines leading out of the home from the sump pump may become frozen during winter months. IceGuards prevent water from coming back into the basement by allowing it to escape through its slotted openings into the yard.
