A basement in Glen Carbon, Illinois, had some floor joists that were starting to fail. Woods came out and installed new support piers to help lift these sagging posts back up to their proper position. The PowerBrace System consists of custom cut steel beams that are fit to the height of the ceiling. These beams are secured to the floor and the floor joists above, lifting and stabilizing the failing foundation beams. With this install in place, the homeowner's stability concerns are alleviated. 

Homeowners Ron and Ruth of Maryville, Missouri were worried about the foundation of their home. Cracks were forming and growing on the walls inside and outside of their home, indicating signs of foundation settlement. They called Woods Basement Systems to see if they had a solution to solve their foundation issues once and for all.

Our foreman Jesse Crotser and his team installed PowerBrace; a patented foundation wall repair system that's designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time. This system can be tightened to make bowing or tilting walls straighter. Once the system was installed, Ron and Ruth were happy knowing their home would be stable for years to come!

The original foundation support was sinking, and unstable. Now the SmartJack is supporting the structure and keeping it stable.

A basement wall in Sparta, IL was becoming unstable, bowing forward and cracking. These cracks were also beginning to leak water. To solve these issues, Woods installed the PowerBrace system. These will permanently stabilize the foundation walls, bringing them back to their original position and keeping them there. This foundation will now remain stable for years to come!

Shelley and Jeremy C. of Collinsville, Illinois were concerned when they discovered their support beams had begun to sag. System design specialist Adam R. designed a solution to prevent the foundation from collapsing. 

Foreman Bradly P. installed SmartJack, a support system made of galvanized steel. SmartJack can be adjusted as need over time, so it is a permanent solution for sagging support beams. Shelley and Jeremy now live comfortably in their home knowing it is safely restored and supported.
