Woods installed the Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the cracked walls. The external pressure from unstable soil conditions causes damage like cracking to walls. Foreman Jeremy R installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor, shown above, in Donald’s basement. The Wall Anchor has two ends, one will be anchored to a level of stable soil away from the house, while the other is attached to the basement walls. The device can be tightened and over time will straighten the walls.

Smart Jacks Replace Bricks in Fairview Heights, IL Crawl Space

Fairview Heights, IL homeowner Laura noticed sagging floors rooms above her crawl space. She gave Woods Basement Systems a call. System Design Specialist Luke B. developed a plan to stop the sagging floors and prevent future ones. 

Foreman Juan H. and his crew installed 3' SmartJacks throughout her crawl space to replace the brick supports that were there. The SmartJack is made of steel components and comes in a variety of sizes to best fit the area they are needed. SmartJacks can hold up to 60,000 pounds. Once all SmartJacks are in place, they are adjusted to raise the floor back to its original position. 

Laura can walk with ease now knowing her floor will support her.
