Tom D was concerned when he noticed that his basement walls were beginning to bow. So, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Joshua L was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Bradly P installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor in Tom’s basement. The Wall Anchor has two ends and will attach to stable soil away from the house, the other end will attach to the basement walls. The device can be tightened and overtime will straighten the walls.

A foundation was bowing inward in a Roodhouse, IL basement, causing a large horizontal crack to form. To solve this issue, the PowerBrace System was installed. This will permanently stabilize the foundation and eliminate any further inward movement. This will also reverse the effects of wall failure, straightening the walls to their original position and closing the cracks to prevent water leakage. This foundation will now remain stable and secure for years to come!

Deric C. of Columbia, Illinois was troubled by his bowing foundation walls. As the walls bowed under pressure, they cracked and allowed water to enter his basement. 

System design specialist Rob C. designed a solution. Jeremy R., foreman, installed PowerBrace to support the foundation and straighten the walls over time. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors were installed where access to undisturbed soil was available. In addition to the foundation support, Deric's basement was waterproofed with WaterGuard.

This homeowner from Columbia, Illinois, noticed that the main floor in her room was sinking. System design specialist, Nelson M., worked with Judy to designed a customized plan that would stabilize and level her crawl space ceiling. 

Head foreman, Michael R., worked with his team to install several SmartJacks around the crawl space. SmartJacks are a permanent stabilizer that supports and levels the foundation. Thanks to Team Woods, Mary now has a stable and level foundation!

A retaining wall in Columbia, Illinois, started showing signs of displacement and failure. To address the homeowner's concerns, Woods came and installed steel supports for the wall.

With the GeoLock Wall Anchor System, heavy duty steel anchors are buried some ways away from the home and connected to the home using steel rods. These rods are then attached to steel wall plates that are placed directly on the wall. As the rods are tightened, they pull the wall back into place. With this install in place, this wall will be stable for decades to come.
