In Dawson Springs KY, a basement had water entering in and creating a possible hazard for the family living there. Due to the water and humidity in the basement, mold was starting to spread on the bottom half of the basement walls. If mold is not taken care of, it can affect someone with asthma and other health problems.

To control the water to pump out of the basement rather than in, a sump pump is installed. A water guard is put on the ground on the sides of the walls to allow water that entered the floor to flow toward the sump pump. CleanSpace is arranged on the sides of the basement walls. CleanSpace is a tear-resistant, bright white liner that prevents mold growth on the surface. CleanSpace blocks water vapor from entering the atmosphere and creating mold spores.
