A family located in Mount Vernon, IN, wanted to transform their unfinished basement, into a usable and comfortable place to store items and hang out in. The floor of the basement would be wet and cold, making it unpleasant for the homeowners to walk on. Water vapor passing through your porous concrete floor in a slow, invisible, unending stream from the damp earth below is enough to cause buckling and will cause moisture to get trapped under your floor, making it smell moldy from the rotting flooring underneath. There is a solution to this! 

The flooring that was used is made from inorganic materials and was laid and connected throughout the basement floor. The inorganic flooring is beneficial when water vapor is present, and affects the concrete floor underneath. Instead of stepping on damp or cold concrete floors, the family would be walking on dry flooring. The gray flooring paired nicely with the home, and the family was pleasantly satisfied with the result! 

There was a moldy situation in Winslow, IN, that was a bit different than the rest of the job sites we have been to before.  A preschool reached out to us in hopes of creating a safe and clean place for the children to play. The homeowner was relieved to know that their preschool would be safe for future days and mold-free!
