These Moline homeowners were not happy with their existing sump pump. They decided after talking with their service technician, Adao Natario, to get an upgraded, more powerful sump pump, a discharge line, and the battery back up so that they would always be covered - even when the power went out. The new sump pump, the SuperSump, is just what the homeowners needed to keep their basement dry!

Dennis M., a Moline, IL homeowner, found his basement was damp, especially in one corner after it rained. He called the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems and met with design specialist Mike Banks. Mike designed a solution for Dennis's wet basement problem that included CleanSpace, WaterGuard, a TripleSafe Sump Pump, and a buried discharge line. Working together, these products will keep the basement dry.

Bobbie had an older home with a brick foundation. Over the years, the home had settled causing cracks in the foundation walls, which lead to a leaky basement. Bobbie quickly made the call to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have his basement inspected for a waterproof system. Upon inspection, it was proposed that CleanSpace, WaterGuard, and TripleSafe systems be installed. CleanSpace was lined along the walls of the foundation to protect the basement from moisture while acting as a tracked guide to the WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a drainage system that directs water to the sump system, preventing water from pooling on the floor. The TripleSafe Sump collects the water that has seeped into the basement, and is than properly discharged from the home, keeping it dry. Together, all three systems effectively work in keeping the basement dry.

Foundation cracks are common due to the curing process of concrete over the years, but when the cause groundwater to leak in, it is best to have the issue address sooner rather than later. Injecting a FlexiSpan sealant not only waterproofs the foundation crack, but permanently seals the crack. The high-viscosity polyurethane polymer sealant sets deep into the crack, with a durable, flexible strength. This allows for the FlexiSpan to expand and shrink with the cold and warm, frost and thaw cycles that are commonly found in Illinois. Without the flexibility, the cracks would reopen and become larger over time.

Terri came home from work one day to find that her sump pump had quit working during a large rain storm, leaving a mess everywhere in her basement.
