During routine maintenance of the TripleSafe system, we discovered several issues with its components. Specifically, the primary pump, the battery for the UltraSump, and the UltraSump itself were found to be malfunctioning. The customer expressed a strong desire to keep water out of the basement, particularly considering that she rents the property.

The property owner, Steve, emphasized the importance of promptly addressing basement issues and ensuring that all systems are in proper working order. Recognizing the significance of resolving these concerns, we proceeded to replace the primary pump and the battery. In the hopes that the battery was the root cause of the UltraSump's malfunction, we conducted a thorough flood test on the UltraSump. Unfortunately, the UltraSump still did not perform as expected, necessitating its replacement.

By replacing the faulty components and conducting thorough testing, we have taken the necessary steps to restore the functionality and reliability of the TripleSafe system. Both the customer and the property owner can now have peace of mind, knowing that the basement is adequately protected against water intrusion. This homeowner has previously used our waterproofing services, however she did not replace her older sump pump at that time. The waterproofing solutions were working well for her, however her sump pump had stopped working, so she gave us a call. We had Service Technician Braydon Aker return to the homeowner's home with a new TripleSafe Sump Pump System ready to be installed. Once Braydon was able to install the TripleSafe, the homeowner was very happy with all of her waterproofing solutions. She was so appreciative of all the work we had done for her basement to be dry. This homeowner’s basement was flooded because the sump pump had stopped working while they were finishing it with drywall. They didn't want anything else to be ruined. We used the WaterGuard system with full-height CleanSpace, which would provide the best protection for the walls and drywall and prevent the mold you can see in the "before" picture from entering their home. We also installed a TripleSafe sump system to protect them if their pump ever fails.

This homeowner wanted to keep his basement dry because he had been struggling with water sitting in his basement. He had used our services previously, so he knew just who to call when he needed waterproofing solutions.

We sent Service Technician Michael Holtzbauer to inspect the basement and determine what was causing water to get into the homeowners basement. Michael found that there were no waterproofing systems in place to protect the homeowner's basement, so water was not leaving the basement once it got in. Also, Michael saw that the drainage system was not pumping water out of the drains as they easily froze over in the winter and prevented water from getting out. Michael discussed with the homeowner some options for waterproofing as well as fixing the small drainage system, and the homeowner decided to start with fixing the drainage system. Our installation team installed 2 TripleSafe Sump Pump Systems included 4 IceGuards which protect the sump pump from freezing over in the winter. These sump pumps will also help to pump water out of the basement as opposed to the previous drainage system which only ran water downhill.
