We sent System Design Specialist Todd King to inspect the older sump pump, determine if it was reliable, then determine what steps to take after the inspection. Todd found that the older sump pump did not have a battery backup, and that this would be problematic if her power ever went out. He also found that the sump pump's age had started to effect it's efficiency. Todd determined that the homeowner could use a new sump pump and the homeowner agreed.
