Water and Wall Problems Solved in Lakota, IA

This homeowner had water in his basement, but no way of pumping the water out. He was tired of cleaning up the water himself, and he knew that he wanted to use the basement space in the future, so when he saw our services on TV, he gave us a call.

We sent System Design Specialist Todd King to inspect the basement and determine where the water was getting in as well as solve this water problem. Todd found that water was coming in through the cold joints and was causing pressure on the walls. He discussed the need for additional wall support with the homeowner, and the homeowner agreed that he needed to fix his basement problems soon.

One of our installation teams came to the house and started off by utilizing a full perimeter WaterGuard Interior Drainage System, a Lateral Line, and a partial height CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to keep water contained and off the basement floors. Then, the team installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump System to pump water up and out of the basement. To address the wall pressure problem, out installation team replaced the older support braces with new, PowerBraces to effectively stabilize the walls of the newly waterproofed basement. The homeowner was extremely happy with the results and he can't wait to use his basement space however he chooses now. Check out the before and after!
