I've addressed everything in the above questions but wanted to put it all in one place too. Work Completed: Our house is located on a hill and the craw space was always wet after rain. The house has been standing for over one-hundred years and I would like it to be for another hundred. I called The Basement Doctor of Kentucky, in early December, after doing some online research and liked the fact they have been in business since 1987, their online information, and positive reviews. Cameron came over the day after I called, listened to my concerns, inspected the crawl space and addressed any questions I had while watching him do so. After putting together a plan, they were able to come out the end of Janaury to do the job. A packet of information was mailed to me and the company kept in touch via e-mail, text, and telephone as far as appointment times. The crew installed support jacks to support floor joist system; installed a supplemental beam and a sister beam as needed; installed Cleanspace crawl space encapsulation system, installed dehumidifer; installed sump pump; installed vent covers over vents and an EverlLast door; and buried gutter discharge pipes and installed LawnScape outlets on gutters I had had recently installed by a different company. Our salesman, Cameron, was fantastic. He provided his contact info and responded to every question and concern I had. He was available during installation and after. The crew, John; Amir; and Elon arrived when they were supposed to. They were considerate, worked hard, and cleaned up daily after themselves. All the work was completed in three days as I was told it would be. I highly recommend the Basement Doctor of Kentucky and will consider them for other services as needed.
