A homeowner in Tiverton, RI reached out to us because they were interested in having their crawl space encapsulated. Our inspector, Steve, went out to take a look at the space and confirmed that it would definitely benefit the home to have it encapsulated. On installation day, our foreman, Kervin, and his crew were ready to get to work with encapsulating the space! They began by laying drainage matting over the dirt floor which allows water to flow under and out of the space instead of getting stuck and pooling inside of it which would cause all sorts of problems. Next, they fully encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, completely sealing off the space from being impacted by outside issues like water and weather. The homeowner is much happier with their crawl space now that its protected by our products.

In addition to those measures, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to help maintain relative humidity within the crawlspace!
