This homeowner in Millbury, MA gave us a call looking for waterproofing and structural support for their basement. Our inspector, Benny, went out to the home to assess the basement and he drew up a solution for both the basement's water and structural issues. To waterproof, our foreman, Kervin, and his crew started by installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier along each wall to corral seepage into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter. They also set up our SaniDry XP dehumidifier in the basement to control humidity. The water collected in the drainage system and dehumidifier is channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump which sends all of the collected water out of the basement through the two discharge lines. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if the discharge line ever clogs or freezes. For the structural issues, the crew installed our SmartJack Stabilizers to add support to the home's foundation. SmartJacks are strong beams made of galvanized steel that can be adjusted to lift a sloping floor. Now the homeowner no longer has to worry about water or structural issues in their basement!

You can see the dampness in this Sutton, MA basement, not ideal especially since the owners had plans to finish the basement! Our inspector showed the homeowners the products that we would use to waterproof the area and they were onboard to get this done! Our team installed a SuperSump Plus in the low spot, which also happened to be where most of the water seepage came in. Along with the sump, the WaterGuard pipe system will collect any water seepage coming in around the rest of the basement and direct it into the sump pump for removal. Since they wanted to finish the basement, CleanSpace Wall vapor barrier was also added to the wall to direct any leaks from the fieldstone foundation into the WaterGuard to keep behind the new drywall dry, preventing mold growth!

Douglas, MA had a home with a stone wall and dirt floor basement getting water and moisture, leading to issues with musty smells and potential rot. Our team encapsulated the basement with CleanSpace vapor barrier, sealing moisture from the ground and walls, while also installing a TripleSafe sump pump and StarPipe channels to collect and remove water from under the the vapor barrier. A SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier will remove humidity in the air that can support the growth of mold, making a healthier space for this home.

WaterGuard is the drainage system DryZone uses around the perimeter of the basement to stop water from entering through the floor/wall seam. This property in Westerly, RI needed the WaterGuard installed right where the basement stairs were! We came in and removed the lower stair treads to install the WaterGuard system and put them right back when we were done!
