A bowed wall in Donald’s basement started to worry him. So he called our team for help and we installed PowerBrace. PowerBrace is a foundation repair system that secures basement walls in place. Often outside pressures can cause your basement walls to crack or tilt, this foundation repair system counteracts these pressures by keeping your basement walls in place. The system can eventually be tightened to not only secure the walls in place, but to also straighten them.

Donald had met one of our employees at a mutual friend’s house and said that he was having some problems with his basement. His father had built the home and there has since been many additions to the house. Donald was telling us that two of the additions are sinking which is causing some cracks on the ceiling of the first floor and cracks on the foundation walls in the basement. We inspected the problem and installed PowerBraces to stabilize the walls. The PowerBrace Wall Repair System can stop further damage and potentially straighten the walls back to the original position. The system consists of steel beams that are secure to the joists above the wall that allow for tightening.

This homeowner had a brand new wall installed in their Muskegon, MI home that was already starting to have mortar failure. The wall was not yet bowing, but the issue needed to be resolved before any further damage occurred. We used the CarbonArmor system to stabilize the wall and prevent it from shifting any further. This effective system used carbon fiber straps that are 10 times stronger than steel. We first painted on an epoxy resin at the location of each strap, which was used to adhere the system to the wall. The straps were then secured into place with steel brackets and the wall was immediately stabilized.

Concerned because his sidewalk and concrete steps were cracking and becoming uneven Tom called our team. We installed PolyLevel, a system designed to fix concrete slabs that have sunk. It uses polyurethane foam that expands and has a high density in order to raise the concrete. The process is quite simple, waterproof, and long-lasting. Also it is done by drilling small holes into the concrete and then inserting the foam into the holes.

The owners of this Beaverton, MI home were looking to sell the house. The buyer's inspection turned up some foundation wall cracks that they wanted addressed. We were well equipped to handle the problem so that the sale could continue as planned. We installed a series of 7 CarbonArmor straps. These straps are low profile with a 7 inch width and they're incredibly strong. CarbonArmor straps are stronger than concrete and they're 10 times stronger than steel. These fully epoxied carbon fiber straps prevent any bowing in the wall. ArmorLock anchor systems at the top of the straps help to prevent any inward movement at the top of the wall. Most carbon fiber systems like these don't offer that same level of protection making them one of the most reliable carbon fiber systems on the market. Now the sale of this home can continue as originally planned.
