A new homeowner in East Lansing, MI, wanted to enhance their recently purchased property by installing an egress window. We installed an egress window to address these issues, transforming the basement into a more functional and brighter space. This upgrade provides an emergency escape plan and adds valuable living space to the home. The homeowners can now enjoy a safer, more welcoming basement that enhances their new property's overall value and comfort.

Brian and Sam were looking to buy a 1920s house as an investment property. Brian, a local South Bend, IN home inspector, knew the home they were looking to purchase had some problems that needed to get fixed before allowing renters to live in the house, ensuring a safe and comfortable space. 

After evaluating the space, it was determined that there was a lot of water intrusion through the basement walls, which showed signs of damage, mold, and cracked walls.

Egress window was needed to brighten up a basement and increase the safety of the home.

Over the last few years, they noticed water seeping up between the floorboards and wall whenever it rained, prompting them to seek a fix. To keep the water intrusion under control, they used a dehumidifier. After inspecting the area, the specialist found water damage and recommended a perimeter waterproofing system to prevent water from entering the basement.
